Eagle Canyon Radio Flyers was officially recognised as a Club by the Eagle Canyon Home Owners Association in November of 2015. The Club operates under the auspices of the South African Model Aircraft Association (SAMAA), and all pilots must be registered with SAMAA to fly.
The Club consists of passionate model aviators of all ages and abilities and is primarily focused on ensuring the hobby is practiced in a safe, fun and accessible manner for all who wish to participate.
The Club focuses predominantly on electric sports model flying within the Eagle Canyon grounds, as these types of models are a great blend of quiet, clean, safe and yet fun model aviation.
The Eagle Canyon Radio Flyers enjoy their flying activities within the golf course grounds of the Eagle Canyon Golf & Lifestyle Estate.
